Mr. King brought his 2007 Mercedes-Benz to our dealership to have service work performed. Unfortunately Mr. King’s vehicle was stolen from the back of the dealership. The police and Mr. King’s insurance company were notified, and the dealership fully cooperated with their investigations. The dealership did not steal or have any involvement in the theft, as Mr. King has suggested. This is the first and only customer vehicle that has been stolen from our dealership. Although we sympathize with Mr. King’s frustration over this situation, the dealership is not responsible for the criminal misconduct perpetrated by others. 3/21 Facebook Ann Business Manager

Mistakenly I brought my 2007 S550 to your dealership for service. Stolen from the back of the dealership, where there were no camera’s unsecure exit ( gate motion activated) key left on a keyboard, unsecured. To be clear you never contacted the police, I Called the police @2:00 and my insurance company. You were not involved until 6pm when the police visited you and then you decided that I needed to return in the morning 12/16, to file a police report. At this point Lacour had advised me that the loaner vehicle would no longer be available to me because my vehicle was collateral for the loaner. I inquired where my collateral was? No response!. Your dealership failed to cooperate with the police investigation by not providing adequate video of your property where my 2007 S550 was being serviced. Because you could not provide adequate video of the crime scene it is wrong for you to assume someone was trespassing on your property undetected and just happened to know where and which key was for my 2007 S550. You might claim you are not responsible for my S550 but, what you are responsible for is the security of my 2007 S550 while it is in your care and control. Full disclosure: your dealership does not have adequate security to protect a 2007 S550 from being stolen by one of your employees! No cameras and unsecured access at the service area of the dealership. This is your scam, stolen car 2007 S550, no cameras, blame it on a trespasser, not responsible. This thievery was done by an employee or an agent of an employee. The image you provided to the police indicated your employee was last seen with the key.
